Paint Paint Paint

Ignore the door cards I was making, starting again on them but have been so busy last couple of weeks I have not really had chance to sort them out.

Meanwhile exciting news is that a painter and colour has finally been decided and the car is going away next weekend (11th November) for the start. There is a lot to do after I have removed all the outer bits from the car and then all the existing paintwork can come off. I have seen another example of work done on another Marcos by the same guy and yes it looked good so fingers crossed and I might even get the car to some of the summer shows next year, interior permitting to finish off.

The chosen colour ? Shall I keep it under wraps or reveal all........

Still thinking,

Okay then, it's a Mercedes colour PALLADIUM SILVER and it's the biz...........

Hi David,

Yes running 15" wheels with 205/55 tyres, think they fit the arches quite well.
Re the bonnet catches, i am unable to post a picture as the car is away at present for paint. The bonnet catches i presume are standard for the year with the "U" catches bolted to the inside of the bonnet that clip into the clips bolted onto the inner wings which are released by two handle pulls by wire fitted under the drivers side footwell, does this help ?
